LS idle problem, help!
got a 91 DA teggy and the car will start up just fine, then it slowely idles up to about 3500 rpm and stays around there. what the heck is wrong, i recently put it in, did i mess up the vac lines, or is it just a bad sensor or did i forget to hook something up? PLEASE HELP ME!
Check TPS voltage and throttle cable like ^^ said.
Also might as well do the FITV and IACV as well, pretty simple stuff to do anyway.
Check for vacuum leaks...use soapy water in a spray bottle and spray around the IM, and check for bubbles.
Also make sure that all the air is out of your coolant system.

i personally use brake cleaner/carb cleaner
Don't use brake clean if you are in a garage. It puts out highly toxic fumes once burned through the engine. Carb cleaner is fine though.
