Idle problem

Default Idle problem

I have a 00 si with the stock b16 in it when i come out in the morning and start the car the car idles at 1500rpm then when it warms up it goes back to stock idle between 550-700rpm what can cause my rpm to be so high when i start the car. Thanks

bro,its supposed to do that. the car idles higher when cold to warm up the car faster. Your car is acting normal

coolant lines to throttle body/cold start valve

it's suppose to do that.

Had a similar problem ... it was my FITV (fast idle thermo valve).
