Default Idle Problem

It started about 2 weeks ago...when im at a stop light or just sitting still while in drive and on the brakes its like my rpms seem to drop and the truck starts to run rough. My rpm gauge doesnt really seem to move but you can just feel it in the truck. It doesnt really happen while im driving just when im starting to slow down or when im at a complete stop. I know i need a new O2 sensor but do you think that will cause it? any help in diagnosing will be great!!!

p.s I drivea a 1996 GMC Sierra

have you checked all your vacum lines, may have a leak, does it run rough just at idle??

no the increase in full amount when i start to accelerate seems to over power this "rough shake" and it does fine, just when i am at low RPMs (like slowing down or complete stop) does it start to do it. I know the fuel system has been replaced, everything is brand new so that cant be the problem....not sure about the vacum lines though

Start your engine and your can spray some soap and water on your line and see if you have any, if you cant and feel like spending alittle money, i know a kramers we hook it up to a machine and put smoke in it to find a look, good luck on the truck, i'll ask my friends at the shop see what they say and get back to you

if your truck is fuel injected, theres a senser on your intake that controls air/fuel ratio, check the clip and see is that looks damages, if not, only other guess is a vac leak.
