check the grounds.

something is getting a short to ground. if there is an aftermarket radio installed, that would be the first place i would check. if you already checked it, check it again, and double check it after that.

electrical problems are the last problems that you want.

I knew that it was a short and its only that. i have done a check of all the lights and what not and everything else works gr8. its just the radio the clock and the interior lights. Immma recheck it just to really make sure. i hope its something that small.

Also check the wiring for the cigarette lighter, that's a typical culprit since it's on the same circuit.

theres a ''back up fuse'' in the engine bay, maybe the fuse is wrong i.e. im pretty sure it should be a 7.5 amp?

yeah, there could also be a smaller amperage rating fuse in a spot where there should be a bigger fuse.

ie: radio fuse has a 20A fuse, when a 30A fuse should be there.

check that.

keep an eye out for the obvious as well. Like a frayed ground wire, or a frayed power wire to the radio or something. Anything that looks like shit is probably the cause.

2 wires help together by only electrical tape, is probably whats fucking up.

ok its the clock interior lights and cigarette lighter that keeps blowing and i have traced every wire and i can't find shit. dorko it sucks cuz everything was working on the way home and then the the clock/interior lights stopped working. so the first thing i checked was the fuse and sure enough it was blown. and now it just keeps blowin. i'm going out my mind right now.
