No one can tell me the truth bout short shifters..
Shifting faster will wear out your synchros faster. Plain and simple. If you shift faster with a stock shifter you'll eventually run into the same problems.
Also, don't automatically assume an LS tranny is a bad thing just because 90% of Honda douchebags say it is. Longer gearing can help more than it hurts.

If you're rebuilding it anyway strength shouldn't be an issue. Any tranny can break with big additional power.

Most drag racers I know use short gears. I don't see why you want longer gears. Main reason people go with the LS is for it's 5th gear for highway miles. But being at 4k rpms doesn't bother me since I don't have a b18a/b.

Do you have any idea of internet site's, where I can check out Gear application's and what not to strengthen the transmission at all?
