smells funny. I'm pretty sure it's the starter. smelled right over it and it stunk.

still have evo. subaru is my daily driver

Check the power wire to the starter at both ends to make sure it didn't get hot and melt the insulation off. Otherwise you could have a nice fire starter.

starter was replaced. friend's shop did it. now my blinkers come on randomly and clicking noise. I'm thinking it's the factory alarm. I tried disconnecting the battery and still happens. i don't have little key chain control anymore. anyway of having this stop?
