be careful at the oceanfront
With truck tags AND 8800GVW, the lowest point on your rear bumper can be 31 inches off the ground (have had quite a few experiences with this) if you are over 31 inches (which i think you are b/c my superduty with a 6 inch lift and 36's comes in between 30.5-30.75 inches from the ground). If you are over the limit then don't even bother trying to fight it, just pay the damn thing. It used to be a $30 ticket plus court fees, etc...how much is yours?

and last i heard it was a 50 dollar fine . . but that might of been with court cost or before . .idk . .i never got one yet . . . .
if i drove my truck on the street they would have a field day .. . .
bumper height
full hydro steering
pinion brakes
non dot tires
marker lights
running to slow lol
open headers (could slide the mufflers back on cuz i don't have to have cats)
hood scoop to high
about the only thing they couldn't hit me on would be tags and insurance . . but for some reason i still have both on my truck lol . . . (mainly so i can keep the city off my back)
oh and all the lights and turn signal and brake lights still work oh and radio

Come on Vacation.....Leave on Probation

Sean (Moved out of VB and to Chesapeake over 10 years ago!) DeVinney
i used to have a tacoma with 14in of lift and ended up having to get rid of it for half kbb value cause i couldnt go anywhere without getting a ticket..and they were $80 each with no court cost cause i payed them up through the mail.after about 6tickets for height and a few for width no e-brake and exhaust my insurence co. dropped me...va just aint the place to have a big truck, there are alot of cops who are cool and dont care out in the country and stuff and even a few in the city but as far as laws go and stuff va sucks for it
. .he let me off with a warning and gave me some shit like if i see this truck again i'm gonna pull you over, take your tags and you have to pass state inspection again (which has nothing to do with bumper height or lift really except safty in no lift blocks in front and stuff like that) . . .
was this a state trooper or just a local cop??
