state . . .think he was mad cuz he was so short and couldn't see up in the truck . . he actually told me "get out of the truck because i will not talk up to you" (something like that but was pretty nasty the way he said it) but i got out and he still had to talk up to me cuz i was about the same height (and i'm only 5 10 ish lol) . . dude was like just above shoulder height lol

i was asking cause if it was a local cop then they dont have the authority to take your tags, my friend has a lowrider truck and some local cop did that and had the truck towed, he went to court and fought it and got everything dropped

 

ive been down there alot and havent gotten pulled over...my toyota has 4 1/2 in suspension and 3 in body on 36's....of course it is a toyota so its not as tall as the diesels and shit that start off with 33's...question if you have airbags in the back of your truck...will the cops allow you to let the air out so your back in will drop down a little if its too high?

 

i was thinking the same thing.. i wanted to bag it and slowly drop it if i was getting pulled over until it was around legal height. but i was told if you do that then the cop will give you a ticket for being able to alter the suspension inside the car...

 

yea i can see that...but i can only pump up or change my airbags underneath my truck because thats where my adjuster valves are

 

Man, you guys put up with alot from that state. When I lived in VA I got pulled one time in my 2500hd with a 4in lift and 35's, and the trooper took like 45 minutes to figure out exactly how to measure it. He had to go back and read the law for like 20 minutes, then come back and mess around. I asked him plainly, "Why did you bother to pull me over if you didn't even know the law I was violating?"

He fumbled around for another 10 minutes then let me go with a verbal. I began house hunting in WV the next week. Actually get troopers up here "admiring" my truck when they see it, and not "inspecting" it for violations. What a concept!!

 

My room mate traded his 4 wheeler 4 it .. He never got hassled , but didnt keep it long

way to much lift for my taste . . and like everyone points out in the pictures of that truck the boggers are on backwards, and not front driveshaft of course (been discussed before i do beleive) . . . .

i might be buying my friends girlfriends c10....it has 14in. of lift, a 3 in. body lift, and sitting on 44in. super swampers....it has a 383 in it with a mild cam and mild head work....im supposed to be getting it for a RIDICULOUSLY good deal....lol, cant wait
