Hey Guys,
I just recently attended my first drag Va meet. It was pretty cool to be able to hang out and not get harrassed. You asked for suggestions about what to do. I have a suggestion. I noticed that there really wasn't any order or coordination to anything. I didn't know who was DragVa and who wasn't. Anyways. How about getting volunteers to to help control cars and letting people know what they shouldn't be doing. Basically police ourselves, or at least make an effort. I'm sure eveyone would like to go and just hangout and have nothing to do but for the people that really care about having a place to hang out and not be bothered by police it might be worth it. Since this is something that is organized by Drag Va you should go all the way and provide sometype of security or organization, and have a set of rules for the meets. Now I nkow noone likes rules but hey if it will save everyone from having to try and find some other place to go or go somewhereeelse to meet I think it's worth it.

Thats the problem right there. Nobody is willing to babysit us all on their free time. Everyone wants to be like everyone else so you know, its hard to find someone responsible unless it was a meet thrown by a specific club or group. (ex. teckademics velocity nights)

guys i'm tellin you, my spot would be hot for a meet with good weather. i will even baby sit if i have to. ffx county would be on sight (i know a couple of officers) not bothering us but ready to "remove " and assholes who want to spoil things for the rest of us. but like i said its just an idea, its very open for suggestions, and i will help in anyway i can to make these further meets a success.

this wont work cause people would throw the flyer on the ground.
but i do like the idea of a "bouncer" at the entrance maybe two just for the simple fact that some kids are asshole and wouldnt stop . but we should get a list of all the email addys of potential participants of the meets and email them the rules and if they bring/notify anyone of the meets they are held responsible for thoes people known the rules/regs. i think we need to come up with a commitie and actually meet and disscuss this issue. and i think typeR2c (luis) should be involved. i volunteer myself to make these events happen. i'm tired of running from cops and i'm tired of the bull shitters who just dont care and get pissed off at the cops for chancing us off when we wer fine before the bullshitt happened
