the people who are really into setting this up, we jsut need to get together and sit down over dinner or something and get this system setup, i dont want to be still talking about this when the season starts in the spring i want this to be completed in time for the spring maybe before so we cantest it out.

 

yeah thats a good idea.....get some people who want to be representatives and have them talk about what they want to do and stuff....and when they come up with something we try it....if u dont like what they want to do then dont come. i mean lets be honest...this is really like the only chill meet in NOVA so far.....so beggers cant be choosers on this.

 

look at all the older guys who have "cruise ins"and meets ....they have them all over and they usually all have really good turnouts considering that there isnt as many older cars as their is late model ones. they never really get kicked out because they all have like a plan and its mutal between them and the resturant or wherever they are. this could work but it may take some work.

 

just remember.....if u help promote them then they will usually help promote you.......(sorry for all the differnt posts)

 

that's not a bad idea, but then how are you gonna control all these ppl from coming in. Also there would be traffic entering the place too so it'd be like some party instead of a car meet. I think the best thing to do is for everyone on this forum going to the meets to just constantly remind the ppl there to behave and not dick around

well i hope it will come toghter cause i would love to see some new cars and meet somemore new people....and just have a good time without cops pushing us around and stuff

 

I think making it a little more organized wouldn't hurt if anything it would encourage people to come hang to a place where someone is looking out for everyone's best interest.
Also I'm sure the police wouldn't mind that there is an effort being made to weed out all the knuckleheads.....

 

that is kewl cause man i hate when i'm at bk and one main person i will leave un namedr starts up and the pw police are there in a heart beat so i would love to go to the meet........

 

Hey guys...i think that your ideas are awesome and the fact that you want to make this whole chaotic thing more structured is great. The only thing is that personally...i dont think the bouncer thing is a good idea. Attempting to get everyones license plates on a list is next to impossible. Some people might have other plans that night and not decide to go to the meet...but at the last minute their plans change and theyre like "oh what the hell ill go". But if their license plate isnt on the list then they cant go in??? I just dont think its gonna fly when you are trying to police a public place. Also, there are so many people that dont post on dragva or look at it that go to the meet. Speaking for the vdubbers...we are up there every friday night, and we have been before you started having your meets. We love having you guys up there, because it gives us a change from what we see every week, but at the same time, only a couple of us are on this forum. So what about the people that arent going to see this and know to inform someone that they are coming? Are they shit out of luck then? I think that this forum and our forums have helped the popularity of these meets a lot...but a lot of it is also due to word of mouth. Anyways...sorry to go on and on but i just wanted to give you my input. I really think it will be hard for a couple regular people to try and police a public place. Thats really all.
After all of that...see you guys in the dungeon a.k.a the basement on the first friday of december...
