I think getting from one end of the track to the other is all you can hope for your first day at the strip

 

haha, ya, i was nervous as hell that i might fuck up or stall out, but nothing bad happened, and progessively got fast, so it was alright. The most embarassing thing, was just seeing all the busas and 1ks gettin like 9s, and then havin to run against one! haha

btw, my 60ft time was 2.201

 

Yea work on getting that 60ft sub2.0 and you'll be good.

 

its probably actually embarresing for them, i bet half of them should have been running alot faster... i always kind of found it to be the opposite for me though, if i was on my 600 and lining up with another 600 i would get nervous and want to beat them, but if i lined up next to a stretched turbo busa i was completely calm because 1)everyone is looking at him and not me and 2)theres no way i could beat him so theres no pressure to try to, so i just concentrate on myself

 

ya true, there was one busa there that was running low 12s i was like wtf, but it is kinda embarassing when they do the bracket timing and u start off like 2sec ahead of them, and they come flying up next to u at the finish, haha.

 

I dunno man, MIR and Rockingham is where the big boys play...........
