Need bike work next month
I need to replace the fork springs and oil in my sv650s. Shops are too expensive and I know there's a few guys in here who has the tools to do it and expertise (i hope). let me know who you are and how much you charge.

hour, maybe two. labor rate is $49 an hour. what year sv? the newer one's i believe are cartridge forks, but the older ones are damper rod forks. that'll be the deciding factor as to how much time is involved. replacing springs on a damper ror fork is alot less labor intensive.

damn thats a good hourly rate! I was told $75 is the norm at most of the stealerships around here. Big difference there!

prolly 2 hours... i believe those are cartridge forks, so the cartridge has to come apart. swing it by the shop, and we can get it taken care of for you.
