ixnay on the dont stress. if u dont have a lawyer and have any prior traffic convictions YOU WILL SEE JAIL usually they give you 30 days in jail and suspend 26. with the vbcc 1 for 1 policy ull spend 48 hours in lockup. yeah it sucks... the flip flops are mad gay

If you were going the speed of traffic, you could say that you felt it was the safest speed to travel at the time so you didnt cause an accident by you being the odd man out with other cars going the same speed. If it was just you two...you're screwed. Get a lawyer and work from there.

hell yea..i got caught going 97/35 and i got pulled over but fortunately i knew the fuckin pig(he used to be my PO) and he jus wrote the ticket for 75/35 and told the judge that i was very polite and cooperative so I got away with 90 suspension and a 75 dollar fine plus court fees and driving school, so its nothing really to stress about....jus calm down and calibrate your speedometer and plead guilty at court youll get away trust me

As for everything else, it all depends on your perception of "fine".
If your strictly talking about jail time then i would say you are "fine". (me and my boy did 115mph on Big Bethel (45mph posted speed limit) and we got off with "failure to obide a posted highway sign," when we shoulda went to jail.)
Then i got another ticket from state poe on the interstate in Hampton. I was doing 85/55 and i got me a lawyer for that one. ALWAYS get a lawyer for reckless driving because they can almost always get it reduced to a lower ticket. I got my lawyer for $300 bucks. Then Isabel hit and since my court date kept gettin pushed up, the trooper couldnt find my paper work the day of court, so i got off. So lawyers are also good luck charms, or maybe it was just the weather
If your worried about points, court fees, ticket fees, and insurance, then i would say get a lawyer and press on from there. More than likely they will send you to driving school and possibly suspend your license. If you dont get a lawyer, then when you go to court, dress very nice, plead guilty and show proof that you are in school and or have a job that you must get to, and they will usually go easy on you and suspend your license for everything but going to work and or school.
If you dont work or go to school, then u might get fucked over. But i think it very unlikely you will face jail time.
