Is it your first getting caught that far over the limit anywhere? And when u go 2 court, as everyone else said, have a clean shave, put on some cologne fix ur hair nice, and be as polite as possible

first off it takes 5 seconds to calibrate those things remember way back in elem in music class those sound forks, they have a set that is double sided one set for sixty and one for 30 all they do is tap it on the stearing wheel and shove it in front of the gun, and i had a 104 in a 55 in VA Beach and my license was revoked (not allowed to have a restricted license) for 3 years by judge marx

u dont really need to get ur speedometer calibrated if YOU know u were speeding...when u get it calibrated the results are given to the virginia state police and is recorded. it may work in your favor or it may not. if it is ur first driving ticket u shouldnt have anything to worry about. i got my first wreckless driving ticket issued by an undercover state trooper in an impala and i hired a lawyer(paid $500), got 6 months probabtion and reduced to a regular speeding ticket. went to driving school and have +1 on my driving record(i think, maybe 0
if you decide to get a lawyer make sure u get one who has been in tha city system for a while. normally the lawyer can meet with the commonwealth of virginia(or prosecutor) on the day of the court date and come in to consesus before you actually appear in front of the judge. and it is always good to go ahead and take the driving school prior to the court date. it shows that you have initiative. hope this helps
