turbosaturns.com is the place for any saturn info, not knocking siextreme, he is good with saturns as well, but over there there are many techs too.

MP2 (sohc) and MP3 (DOHC) trannies are interchangeable. The SOHC and DOHC blocks are one in the same for the most part.

A lot of the turbo/FI guys like to use the MP2 for the fact that it's geared better for turbo applications.
