Default 1996 saturn SL2 question

Hey ya, I have this issue with this piece of crap saturn I own. It was difficult to shift to the point where I forced it into gear and broke the shift bushing. Had the car towed back to the house and replaced the shift bushing and I thought I needed a new clutch. I started a post here asking for anyone who would be interested in installing the clutch for me and luckily got help(THANKS STEVO8). When the clutch was installed, the car still did not go into gear. The clutch is working properly and the car goes into gear fine when its turned off. I checked the shift cable and that seems to be fine aswell. Anyone have any idea what it could be?? I need drastic help please any ideas or recommendations PLEASE let me know. Thanks ya!! Its a 96 saturn sl2 dohc manual.

Did you happen to just replace the clutch and not the pressure plate?

It's the clutch actuator.. Buy a new one from the dealer, the aftermarket ones are complete shit. It's very easy to change.

Are the synchros completely fucked? They don't really matter when the car is off, because nothing is moving..

Didn't you say the clutch is working fine?

If you try to force it in gear, does the car start to crawl? Is it a hydraulic throw out bearing? If not, did you check the fork to see it was bent?

Sounds like the syncros if it goes into gear when nothing is moving. If something is bent or broken, it will still be bent or broken no matter what so I don't think that is probably the issue.
