Hm, I have a somewhat similar problem. Usually in 2nd / 3rd gear right around when I reach the 5-6k range the car loses boost, then boggs down. I was told the engine is more than likely backfiring by a buddy of mine, any suggestions?

yeah the the 89 and 90 240sx came with coils. an external coil. still has a distributor. dumb ass. and its spelled millennium. i give millennium all the respect they deserve. they can build a car and if you have something that can compete than let me know. i'll show you something better. my taillights...
