Default obd1 b16...no spark..please help!

So I have the following...

obd1 b16
obd1 gsr distributor

Background:
I was cleaning the engine bay while the car was running and I pulled a spark plug wire from the distributor cap (dont ask why because I dont know) anyway..the car died and wont start now. I know I should not have pulled the wire, but please help if you can.

I have tried the following:
checked timing (cam gears and crank pulley all line up)
checked for spark

Everything was perfect before (cap, rotor, wires, spark plugs, ecu, wiring)

I have a spare obd1 ls distributor..so maybe I can swap out the parts because it wont bolt up..or can it be something else..any help will be appreciated..Thanks!

I offer $800 doh!

See if you can borrow another distributor since that seems related to the moment things went south. I'm thinking coil or ignitor in the distributor. How strong is the spark?

You probably broke the plug wire internally. Code 15 would tend to back up that theory. Get some new wires and see what happens.
