ecu CAN be bad or the wiring is loose(that was my prob)

SAME WITH ME! i thought i ran on Empty. i thought my fuel filter was shot, but i took the banjo nut off and sprayed my engine with fuel. lol. after some looking, i found one of my wires to my starter was off! lol

so just your starter!
