Default obd2 d15b vtec-e?

does anyone know anything about these motors? I'm tryna drop it into a 98 ex coupe, but i heard it has 2 vtec selenoids... ummm.... is there a way to use stock ecu?

my obd1 vtec-e has just one but it also has an EGR system that needs to be wired up.

this is a fuel economy engine period. if that's what you are after get the appropriate ecu and hook everything up specific to this motor, otherwise why bother?

complete waste of time. your motor bad or do you just want to replace it?

three stage vtec system
mix of (92-95) vx and Z6 motors (parts wise anyway)
same size crank journals as a d16
40% of the parts can't be purchased in the US
only one stock ecu can run the three stage system (iirc, its a P2F)
not really worth the hassle to swap to it from a Y8 (if the Y8 is still good)

my motor is bad... i bought the motor by accident cuz it was obd2 my car was obd2 and i thought it was just gonna be plug n play... didn't know what i was getting myself into... i just wanted something simple n it turned out that i just fucked up probably... i just want my car runnin... correctly... i don't care about fuel mileage when i bought it i just wanted an easy swap... or exchange or whatever... do u know anyone that can get this thing wired into my car with my ex ecu?

anyone got a d16y8 that would trade str8 up for this motor... or does anyone wanna buy it... it's still on the pallet... bought it for 699 plus shipping i'll sell it for 600... anyone interested... ttt
