Why does it smell because you're booooooooosted?

theres is def. a change in exhaust tone on mine. It also killed my low end torque. My OBD2 ain't liking it one bit either, the engine runs funny, and will cut off everyonce and a while when I come to a stop. New cats are so damn expensive too. if the feds want me to have one so bad, they can pay for it.

 

No shit? Taking massive amounts of material out of a sound-deadening piece of your exhaust made it actually sound different?

I was hoping for "all boosted cars smell like boost!", or at least something along those lines.

A lot of cars sound terrible with gutted cats.. I gutted all of my Hondas and they sounded gross afterwards..very tinny/raspy.. I'd get a testpipe/offroad pipe and keep the stock cat for inspections

 

PS- I have no kitty either. And my shit shoots fire and smells to high heaven. My friends refuse to follow me anywhere (like the 8:1 AFR has anything to do with it )
