hopefully where you got it installed at or if you installed it, no fluid got on the flywheel or clutch. I know that you can have that problem if some fluid gets on those surfaces, hopefully that helps.

 

No your clutch disc has springs on it not the flywheel. Your fly wheel is not "dual mass" thats a load of sales BS. take the stuff out, get it resurfaced and put back together, and you MIGHT not have the problem again.

Once you glaze it over, its best to replace.

when it first slipped it was raining.. and in the rain it slipped really bad.... but the odd thing is my clutch does not smell at all

 

well i stand corrected after reviewing the info. i cant believe they introduced that design into a PRODUCTION vehicle.

check the manufacturer of the clutch, they may not have made it correctly. and did you replace your stock flywheel with another stock one? it may have too much "run out" on it requiring a resuface, but since you cant resurface yours you need to buy a new flywheel.

it was a stock flywheel... im realli in a delimma here and i do not kno wut to do i am going contact the manufacturer again ... i did use the stock flywheel ..

y cant you believe that they are using that on a production vehicles ?

 

because in my opinion that is a poor design and a bandaid for harmonics that should have been corrected in crank weights or front pulley dampeners not flywheel dampeners.

That leads to expensive part replacement instead of just a simple 40$ resurface job. It also allows for error with aftermarket clutch companies or any mom and pop shop fix it garage. Hyundai has to account for the idiots out there with wrenches.

kinda like when Mazda put a turbo on the already hott headed rotary. warantee claim hell for them.

 

hmmmmm if it were me i would look into the possibility of getting an aftermarket flywheel??? one that is a one peice unit

 

i wish it was that easy... that means i have to buy another flywheel.. possibley get a new disc if my clutch crystaliized and fuckin labor.... my labor was 600 bucks....
