i have a 90 ef with the ls swap and it isnt getting fire.I got the guy i got the car to come down and look at it and he said the ecu light isnt on i dont know what that means but the fuel pump isnt workin well i cant hear it but i need help please

 

check you grounds on the engine

if ur not sure fuel pump is working pop one of the injectors out and then turn the key to prime car and fuel should spray from the injector. Otherwise check ground, starter, fuses etccc. go small when diagnosing then go big.

 

check the thermostat ground. Also check the ground that goes to the tranny.

 

try a different main relay... it's located under the driver side dash right in front of the door hinge.

 

i dont know much bout it but is it possible for the ecu to not be on,a buddy said theres a red light on the front that lights up
