dude, i'm telling you, denatured is a serious solvent. not only that, but have you ever considered flash point?!?!? i'd like to challenge your thought that denatured alcohol can transfer heat faster than water. water has greater propensity to absorb heat energy than almost anything on earth. i am going to check the molecular structure of denatured alcohol (if i can find a model) and rap with you further on this topic.

also, as i previously said, how much damned c02 do you plan on carrying around to 'freeze' an IC?!?!?

Methanol would work well, but mixed with water (about 60%) to avoid flammability issues. Water has a very high specific heat, so it can take up alot of heat, but methanol would work better because of its evaporation rate (pour some on your hand, and pour water on the other hand, which evaporates faster and feels cooler?)

Hehe... I love. I gave the secret to why 4 cylinders hit low 8's without intercoolers and not one person asked how it worked. But thanks for being ignorant fucks. And nice try Geek, I think drag is a little too much into the "high dollar spearco" and name brand shit to consider anything other than crap with words on it.

how the hell did we go from "HOW TO MAKE A INTERCOOLER SPRAYER HOME MADE" to bitchen at each other saying alcohol is better then water... YEA i agree on that because i race alcohol in are 69 camaro BUT as for a intercooler sprayer i think it would cool the FMIC better to but i would mix it with some water so theres no flamibility issues... but any ways back to the subject HOW DO YOU MAKE A HOME MADE INTERCOOLER SPRAYER?

Get a fucking bilge pump from an old boat, get a resorvior, hook the pump up to a switch in the car, run a hose from the pump to infront of the intercooler.. when you want to cool the intercooler hit the switch... what is so hard about htat?
