Just get a fogger nozzle from a garden store and run the hose from your nozzles down to the IC...the only thing, most sanctioned events won't allow the car on a track because you could drip water...and water on a racetrack of any kind is generally frowned upon.

I can't imagine using anything but water...but I imagine there's something.

Medical Grade rubbing alchol (like 91%) works alot better. But I used 1/4" copper tubing with 1/16" holes one onside. It mists very well. I used old 190lph high pressure fuel pump to power it until I relized it's over kill. Worked great but it ran the tank dry very quick.

Activate the washer motor/pump by hobbs switch thats adjustable. You can try a spa place to get one but the local spa retailers are pain in the ass to get on. Get one off ebay or something.

Yes the water thing is true. Alcohol isn't much safer. I got introuble for using it at richmond. It helped my car run about .4 seconds quicker.

At ambinet temps water is better, but I stuck a gallon of rubbing alochol in freezer the night before then left in ice chest before I put in my sparyer tank. Water doesn't freeze at 10-20 degrees.
Having the liquid cooler playes into the area thermal dynamics. Colder you can get the liquid/gas to touch IC better it is. Thats the only reason I say it.

Other wise your correct.

double what merf said, plus how do you deal with the alcohol as a corrosive to paint/an aluminimum IC? also 91%= denatured alcohol. plus what exactly is med-grade alcohol? i worked in a hospital for years and never saw anything that said "medical grade alcohol" anywhere in the whole damned place. and besides, where do you buy it by the gallon? i only see denatured sold by the gallon.

Thats what I meant by medical grade alcohol. 91% denatured alcohol. Yeah I've tried finding gallon too. I just poured like 10 bottles in to few old milk containers. I haven't had problems with paint or AL being affected so far. But best cooling method besides getting more effecient IC's is use co2 to cool them down.
