maybe your not getting enough or too much fuel. have you tried to check that out ?

i havent check anything like that. i dont see how that has a problem because it happens at the above rpms. i will have it checked and see what the pressure is. but i will have to get back with that stuff.

well for one thing..if its a stock d16y7..their rev limiter is at 6700rpms..so i dont see how ur pushin it 7k+

no codes. but my speed sensor is going bad because my speedo is going crazy

well something must be wrong because that is where it is taching out at. 7200 rpms. like i said. its all stock but the tranny. i have a ex cluster in it so i see where it hits the limiter.

well something must be wrong because that is where it is taching out at. 7200 rpms. like i said. its all stock but the tranny. i have a ex cluster in it so i see where it hits the limiter.
do you have VTEC?? the fuel saving version

dont want to be a dick but if you read the entire post you would see that is said y7 and not y5. and it also says dx not hx. fuel saving vtec is vtec-e. but no.

mine did the same thing and it was too much fuel doe to large injectors. maybe your injectors are sending too much fuel.

i just updated it and it was the vss. i guess when you get into high rpms the speed sensor was shutting it down because i think it was hitting the speed limiter. i dont know much on that but i unhooked it and it will go the whole time to tach out. i know that the vss plug had a little corrosion on it. thanks though.
