Ok I'm hoping someone else has had this problem and found a cause/solution. Whenever I'm driving between speeds of 40-65mph and taking a long sweeping bend to the left, I get this knocking or chattering noise whenever I let off the gas pedal and just cruise. Sometimes it happens on sweeping right bends. This occurs when I'm in gear but off the gas pedal or when I'm in neutral. The noise is not quite the same as the clutch chatter you get with a new heavy duty clutch. Plus as I've said, only occurs when I'm taking long sweeping bends with my foot off the gas pedal.

 

does it sound like its comming from the motor trans area or susp.?

 

sound like exhaust/muffler is maybe hitting a heat shield. check for a missing rubber hanger for the mufflers or exhaust.

 

Umm, do you 'hear' it or 'feel' it per say? Sounds like it could be a binding limited slip. . .
