Default fuel filter 91 civic

Hey guys, quick question, I got a 91 civic dx, and I am not sure if the fuel lines on the filter are on accordingly. Does the inlet that has the arrow pointing away from the filter get hooked up with the feedline, or let me know guys.

I believe the arrow indicates the flow of the fuel. Whichever way leads towards the engine I guess.

Next time you take it off, it'd be wise to remember what goes where. Don't forget those crush gaskets either.

Ya, I had it hooked up properly, but I am not getting any pressure, I hear the relay coming on and that, but I am thinking the pump is bad. I am gonna remove the back seat tomorrow and take a look. Any other ideas as to why there is no pressure? I got a pressure guage aswell, brand new b&m. I had it started earlier in the week, but then it gave out, let me know guys.
