i recently bought a 4b turbo for my 2nd gen gst. had a fresh rebuild on it turbo had no shaft play everything was good on it. anyways the install went ok other than a few minor problems. anyways wheni put everything back on im having boost problems. im only boostin 5psi which is low for a dsm i believe. my t25 stock was 10 but maybe im worng. i have no boost controller and all my vaccum lines are correct. what is the problem and what do i need to do to reach at least 10 psi if not more.

did you check the o2 sensor housing on the 14b before you put it on? a lot of them have problems with the housing around the wastegate flapper cracking/blowing out little by little over time causing blowby and low boost.

 

i though that to but the sensor is fine

 

when my car was stock it only boosted 5-8 psi
