Default AC problem

I drive a 97 integra and the a.c blows warm air. Any ideas what the problem could be? Could it just be low on freon? If it does that mean there is a leak? I don't know shit about ac's so any help is appreciated.

It's a 12 year old car, it just makes sense that it's out of freon. Before you go adding it, make sure the system is properly vacuumed.

It's most likely out of refrigerant.

It can be many things. Ur guess is just as good as anyones or any hvac tech's. Get it diagnosed. The most apprent thing is it could be low on ref.

You can check if the compressor clutch is engaging, too.

Well if you ran out of free on..find out where it went first. See if the compressor is kicking on. If it is and it aint blowing cold you are probably low on free on. IF you get low enough it wont even kick on. When you charge it, get them to put a little bit of dye in it incase you have a little leak its simple to find with a LED light.
