Ya feel me?
I'm a junior and thinking about joining some kind of tech school when I graduate next year. I talk to a career specialist sometimes at school and he's gone through the basics about Nova's school in Mannassas, and this guy Gary there who has his own Drag Car. It all sounds very appealing, but like other people mentioned, I don't know if I'd always want to be turning wrenches, as people put it, for the rest of my life. Personally, if I could work on fast high end sports cars like Ferrari/Porsche/Lotus/Lamborghini, making near 90 - 100k, I would be completely ok with that. I want to know what the employers at big name companies (as far as high end, exotic cars) look for and how feirce the competition is.. but no one seems to know
The only other things I can see myself doing right now (which is definitely subject to change as I grow older) is going to law school to become a lawyer, or maybe become a psychologist. Being young right now and having a passion for cars, I'm more swayed towards becoming an auto tech.
