we have a good amount of guys that set these meets up and talk to Mac right? So how about you guys get some what 5 people to act as security? See a stupid ricer revving his engine too much, peeling out, speeding, and basically anything stupid that will just cause problems for both us and Mac. Write down their plates and tell the cops that are probably right outside. and make a list of "banned cars" or w/e....pretty sure you guys get the idea

 

i think the basement of the town center would be a great place..for the winter...its out of the cold..and we do give alot of business to the town center that is why they enjoy us bein there....i try and confront people that are acting retarded..when us<the dub crew> is there every friday night..and the 1st of the month is always the dragva meet....

Basement it is for me....is nice and we are allowed there...and we still gotta install mac's o2 sensors on his passat for em..LOL...basement would be nice

 

After reading all the pages...I'm gonna say that you all have great ideas. I do agree that we need to do something to thank Mac for letting us use the garage for the past 9 meets.

 

what about my idea damn it....its a good one.....any ppl willing to volunteer...i know i would be more than glad to do it....all we need is pen paper maybe some walkie talkies and a digicam maybe?

 

I think all the ideas are great. I think we should form a group of people who are willing to volunteer to have a meeting with Mac. Talk about the problems with the people who goes to the meets and just make a fool out of themselves. We need to come up with something to get rid of them. But first thing that we should do...is do something for Mac to show our appreciation.

 

something unique? like a car part but engraved with DragVA or something similar....honestly its something we relate to and original...like an exhaust all shiny and engraved....could go with a plate hell if everyone chipped in a couple bucks it wont be hard to do

Well if you guys need anything engraved let me know, I do the engraving at my family's jewelry store. If you would like to get him a thank you gift I’m sure I can find something nice. I’ll give cost price on the gift to Mac and wont charge for the engraving. That’s my gift to you guys and DragVa

As for the problem with the bad behavior at the meets, you guys have some good ideas, its really gotten out of hand, mostly young high school kids causing the problems but there are still some older idiots I see at the meets contributing to the problem.

 

We cant have any kind of fund raiser or anything where people have to pay a cover charge or the whole meet will fall apart.

Bottom Line is that we need to show some appreciation to Mac, respect the property when we are there and bring buisness to the area. Imagine if 90% of the people at the meet went and ate somewhere or went to a movie, i am pretty sure that the town center would be more than welcome to our meets. Mac talked to me a few months ago about setting up a car show where he would invite bands through tower records and food through the places to eat and movie discounts and stuff. I will get ahold of him in the next day by e-mail or phone to plan something.

I will call and talk around for some thank you plans and ideas for Mac.
