I got had court for my reckless ticket in December. Got it dropped, I payed nothing and walked out of the court room smiling. I really don't think that would have happened without a lawyer.

Well I don't have any money... I got caught in a parking lot when I hit the curb around 3mph... "practicing driving" during snow... the first officer said it was ok to practice as long as were away from the busses so we moved... then I hit the curb... second ticket after 4 years... so am I going to survive without a lawyer??? what could be the worst thing that would happen to me??? Virginia beach...

 

the money from the lawyer was well worht it, considering i didn't get fined 500+ or get community service, driving class, or my license suspended. I'd say it was a pretty damn good deal.

 

i went to court for a 85/35 reckless..i had a lawyer..only thing he got me was no jail time, but im still on probation so i have 6 months suspended untill june...my dad said he or I couldve gotten me what i got..he said my lawyer didnt do shit..waste of 1500

65/35 i got off with driving school and 61.00 court fee

 

haha...yeah it sucked to..cause it was one of the few rare times ill run someone on the street, some punk ass redneck(assuming) in a mustang kept eggin me on, since it was nice out..i was like fuck it so we both went at it..right when we both shut it down we were going over a hill, our luck two bikes sitting there running radar..at least they were nice enough to let us go instead of locking us up like there suppose

i went to court and this is what i got..my lawyer said he just got himself off a 75/35 the week before, what a crock of shit

i had a +3 driving record, my last ticket before this one was 5 1/2 years before this one, but sadly it was a street racing ticket

$565 fine
180 days in jail suspended
unsupervised probation for 1 yr
defensive driving class with in two weeks

the judge wouldnt lower the speed or drop it down to high speeding ethier..he was just being a dick to me, because the stupid bitch that went before had 79/35 and all she got was a fuckin fine and she had a -1 driving record

 

Man that sucks. Hope my shit doesnt go that route.
