Any update? I am going to try my luck and if I lose I will just appeal and get a lawyer.

 

hey man, i just had my court date on the 26th, went without a lawyer, and i luckily got off with just driving school, then they are gonna dimiss my case. No bumpin it down to 19 over or anything, just dropping it. It all depends on the prosecutor and judge. good luck

yeah i was doing 50 in a 25 and i just talked to the prosecutor and told him i was trying to get home quick cuz my clutch was going out and i didn't wanna be stranded. also showed him a reciept for a new clutch install ( my friend shop wrote it up) and i got off with a 80$ fine and no points off so i was pretty happy plus its the only 1 ticket ive gotten in 3 years of driving so they took that into account

 

I just got a reckless for doing half a dounut in a empty parking how bad do you think I should worry over this one? I think it was just the end of the month quota thing going.

 

well it all depends on if you have had any other tickets...but then again it REALLY all depends on the judge...i had my first ticket ever 62 in 45 which is not wreckless but close but the judge dropped it because it was my first one and i just had to go to a dumb drivin improvement class. but i definately suggest gettin a lawyer 2 friends of mine got out of 1. street racing ticket and the second guy from aidin a street race by gettin a good lawyer. then again you could try explaining that you are not from here, and that you were just trying to get over blah blah and they could let you go..dont know...and he prbly pulled u over because 1. i assume you had a nicer car than him since you said it was a bmw and the other guy was "losing" 2. you had different state plates for some reason they like pullin people over with different plates.

 

i will be joining you for my stupid exhaust ticket that isn't even louder then stock.
