your gonna get wreckless either way. i personaly dont think its worth it to get a lawyer because when i went to court 5 people that were there had lawyers and wreckless tickets and still got wreckless driving and fines. you may not lose your liscense or go to jail but you will get wreckless and $500 in fines like i did with my 85/55 on 264 in VB ( like a moron i know ).

If you just bought (or your parents just bought you) an M3, then you (or your parents) can afford, and should get, a good lawyer.
But seriously, what kind of a dumb cluck are you to try to gun it around someone in a brand new M3? Why not just be patient and make a u-turn?

Honestly, i dont know how getting a lawyer helps. The situation is how it is. I sped, and got caught. I dont see how having someone else explain it to the judge makes a difference unless they bend the words and making it seem like something else happened or w/e.

i honestly think getting a lawyer for most things is pointless! it just shows that you're scared and you're trying to worm your way out of it. I REAR ENDED an integra, leaving my car wrecked and undriveable .The cop gave me a failure to maintain control of vehicle...On top of that, i got an exhaust ticket and an illegal plates (i had a cover that restricted view
) I walked out of the court room paying the court fee, 50 dollar fine, and i had the exhaust and plates tickets dropped. no lawyer...
i also got a 19 over in a school zone w/ the officer visually identifying me at over 100 mph in the same area going the other direction minutes before. The judge gave me a suspended sentence for 1 year, 10 hrs community service and a 2.5 hour class...i thought i was going to lose my liscense for a year like my friend...but nope

it all depends. i didn't get a lawyer (62/35 no seatbelt), my record is horrible but hadn't gotten pulled over in two years before, prosecuting attorney normally talks to nobody but lawyers and the judge. and that comes down to connections...my lawyer has even told me that before. a 'you scratch my back, i scratch yours' kinda thing. no bs. i got off the seatbelt and it was lowered to speeding...walked out with a 125 dollar fine or some shit like that (in fairfax county) and this was just in october. don't even attempt a court appointed lawyer...you're better off on your own. dress nice and come up with an excuse. seriously...and you can always try to talk to the prosecuting attorney but good luck
if you have a good driving record and your a good talker, then take your chance..considering you just moved up here they may cut you some slack
