Moriar, you wanna bet? I was in the car w/ a friend who had a detector on the ARMREST (ie impossible to see, and prob very bad range as well, since it can't even see through the windshield), and a cop came through traffic and pulled us over. We had no idea WHAT he pulled us over for, as we weren't speeding. He flat out told us "where's the radar detector?" We looked at him bewildered. He told us he was using a radar detector detector, and knows we have one. We handed it over.

The only reason there are any innovations in that industry is because we keep pushing to be protected from radar and they keep pushing to catch us protecting ourselves.. so it keeps progressing so our latest and greatest technology is matched with theirs.

Jee, my Uncle must not know a damn thing about radar's, I mean hell he's a colonel in the chair force and flie's AWACS all day long for the past 20 year's... and thats how he explained it.
