sorry to hear all your sobb storys about rd detectors but if you werent speeding you wouldent need one.....and its not the dectors fault that people get tickets ...its their l=ead foot ............a cops radar is not constantly on. they have triggers and can turn it on at last minuet and your dector is useless....so why get one they are useless.....

You're spewing ignorance. If radar detectors were useless, no one would bother running them. In other states, they've saved my ass a number of times.

I almost agreed with something you said though.. You should definitely not rely on a radar detector to save your ass, but it sure as hell doesn't make them ineffective or useless like you seem to think. Not everyone that uses them does so because they're doing something wrong or breaking the law. I'm not saying that's not the case the majority of the time, but that's not ALWAYS the case.

You my friend are a fucking idiot. I SPEED. I LOVE IT. I purchased a piece of plastic that cost $425 and don't regret that decision for even a second. Every time I drive the car it is mounted in, it pays for itself.

Radar detectors are far from useless. The terminology that you are referring to is called "instant on". Ever thought that the cop could be doing it to a car a mile or so ahead of you? Think that the detector will pick that up and warn you?

Stop spending your money on your car, go get an education and learn to spell and maybe think logically before you come spewing ignorant stupidity.
