You can argue with one of my inspectors if you'd like. If any part of the system is there, it all has to work. Just like the PS system and having a PS rack still.

and if there is nothing for you to inspect, then how can you fail it?
thats just like failing someone for a blown FOG light bulb, and the car doesnt have foglights at all?
if the airbags are removed, and the brain box removed, the light can also be removed.
call trooper campbell. ill pm you his number.

Sweet, but I didn't mention removing the brain, nor the passenger airbag. I was then suggested to take out the bulb, which won't make it pass. Please follow the thread.

this is between you and the inspector of the car. If you show him that you do not have airbags in your vehicle, he can either call a trooper, or pass you.
the trooper will pass you b/c there is nothing to inspect, and it will not fail.
if you have SRS steering wheel still on the car, and the SRS dosent come on. then you will be failed.
if you have a MOMO steering wheel, and no SRS light, and a jdm airbag block off tray. you will pass.

Correct, if there's no airbags, but I'd still have the passenger airbag and the brain there. I've been told it won't pass by multiple inspectors, and I won't go through the hassle of removing the brain and passenger airbag just to keep the steering wheel in it. I'll just buy a new SRS reel and steering wheel.

well you could possibly get away with the SRS computer, b/c you actually have to look for that. and half the times, its under the dash, or under a seat or something weird.
as for the passenger airbag, that would either have to be removed, or blown.
you can have a blown airbag and still pass as well. as long as the light comes on, and goes off like its supposed to.

if the driver produces a disable form from the NHTSB, then it will pass.
its a giant cluster fuck, but a person can get a medical or other waiver and have the airbag system disabled in their vehicle.
but it has to have an exemption form and a notice in the vehicle.
