That WERE over 35k? The cars were worth just as much as the new E46s are. Same goes for the M3s, which were around 50k.

That loss isn't too bad when you take other things into consideration.

BTW how can you compare E36 style/era BMWs with mercedes cars. What the hell models did MB have that were even close to BMW? I don't remember any sporty looking coupes with that kinda performance from their AMG department.

Probably just going to leave this beemer stock and drive it for a while and make a couple of pennies off of it :P

Price wise to make this thing have a reliable 300 horsepower would cost double the price of the car in the end. And by god i'm not going to fuck with installing that supercharger on that thing, or fucking with the ECU etc. I've never worked on anything over a 98. I know i'm going to have to one day when these are the cars I start getting good deals on, but jesus christ. Pop the hood on that mercedes and there is fucking plastic shit everywhere. I can't even tell where the hell the damn distributor is. Price wise it'd cost about the cost, and i'm figuring labor is going to be phenomenal. Oh well, i'll sell this in about a month or two and maybe there will be a used STI by then :P
