Depends on the inspector, they usually don't look at that unless it's for emissons....but the foul smell coming from your exhaust would probably be a dead givaway.

the 2 inspectors at my work do check, and most of the time notice when your car is blowing black smoke

Remove the seat belts as an extra precaution. I passed just fine with no back seats...

I have a high flow cat from SMSP on my system... passed ok with that too

Find yourself a bud who'll get your inspection done, and just promise that when you get pulled over you tell the cop you did that shit after inspection.
