Default engine question

i was talkin to a friend and i was thinkin bout gettin a type r engine but my friend said to go gsr and change the cam and ill basically have a type r engine but with a bigger intake manifold, that ture?...im kinda new to the scene so im just makin sure. thanks

Type-R has higher compression as well... I don't know all the differences but they are more signifigant then a set of cams. GSR's like boost tho!

gsr bottom end with gsr rods and b16 pistons, with a b16 head and type r cams = poor mans type r......... just as quick but cheaper.
