Call me crazy, but if you tell the judge you weren't paying attention and crept up to 102, you're going to be even more fucked then you already are.

I'm just atonished that you can't tell the difference between 65, 85 and 102 MPH.

I sure as fuck would notice if I was doing 102. Hell, I think I'd notice if I was also doing 37 over the limit

 

I hope he tells the judge he was arguing with his girlfriend also. That should make him look like an extremely safe adult-like driver. I mean shit...every time I argue with someone in my car, I easily creep up to the triple digits! Sometimes, I even tell them "You know what, You're pissing me off SO Much, I think I'm going to kill you." When they scream "Let me out of the car! Let me out of the car!" I reach over and unbuckle their seatbelt (if applicable) and slam on the brakes. Works every time.
