Brock... unless the car is gutted and caged like the cars supplied for the rolex series it will handle like shit compared to even a base Corvette C5 or C6 or probably even the flexi-flyer C4. It's all about weight, center of gravity, weight distribution, and chassis stiffness, not to mention suspension architecture and geometry, and lastly tire size/type.

I don't think we're arguing that the GT500 will be outhandled by the C6, I think that's a forgone conclusion. We're saying that the Shelby is better then the 03-04 Cobra.

We need to keep in mind that the Mustang and it's siblings were never designed to compete with the Corvette. However with the demise of the F-Body, it's the only real comparison, unless you want to toss in the GTO.

 

Ok. I would take an M3 over it anyday. Speed is over rated.

I'd take a C6 all day over the GT500 just for the fact that a GT500 underneath all of it's paint is still a Mustang.

Comparing GTO's to Cobra's styling is really no comparison. A Cobra looks a lot meaner, and can be made pretty quick for cheap. However for a DD a GTO is greater than a Cobra anyday of the week.

Read the newest Motor Trend, I just got in the mail today. They test a new Challenger concept. 6.1 liters of fury, and just the other day while looking around on the internet I see they are starting an aftermarket for this motor.

Out of the Camaro/GT500/Challenger debate, as far as right now until there are official numbers the Challenger out does him all in looks for sure.

 

explain to me how the fuck a GTO is a better DD than a cobra. And genius, theres an aftermarket starting for the 6.1 because the motor is ALREADY out. It isnt special to that car. And how the fuck does a CONCEPT car outdo a car that is already out? You bench racers are retarded.

Drive a Cobra and drive a GTO and you would see. A GTO has a far nicer interior and driving charcteristics than a Cobra. And by aftermarket starting, it's really starting just now for the 5.7 as well you ignorant fuck. Which has been out for 4 years. They are doing both together. If you read what I wrote the concept out does the others on looks, I said you would need the numbers to form a final opinion.
