Since when was the GT500 priced or designed to compete with the Z06? It costs 13 grand less then a C5 Z06 did new in 2004, yet that was three years ago now. It was designed to beat the Z51 C6. ...which it apparently does.

 

Then thats sad. A 500hp supercharged Mustang cant keep up with a normally aspirated Corvette. Instead it has to pick on their lesser model to feel worthy.

btw, Im a huge Mustang fan, but this is lame. Plus I hate all '05 and newer cars, they are titantic sized turds.

 

So a $40,000 car "picking on" and beating a $50,000+ car isn't fair? Obviously it has 100 more horsepower and is a heavier car, but it still none-the-less outperforms it, no matter how that goal is attained. At the end of the day, who cares?

The GT500 does more then a C6 Z51 for $10+K less. I just don't see the problem with that.

 

when was a cobra ever designed to compete with a vette? They are in two seperate classes. 12.20s for 40k MSRP is nice and anyone bitching is just hating.
