If they could get it back to $40k it would be a steal.

Ford is fucking no one. FMC has nothing to do with anything except deciding Manufacturer Suggested Retail Price. It's the dealers' decision what to sell the vehicle for. And even then, they aren't really fucking anyone. People are, as XCELR8 said, lining up WILLING to pay 20K over MSRP.
