I just find it humorus how these guys say how well integra's handle... but when you see the stock races on speedtv its always the miata's - rwd - that are doin the passing in the corners.. but yes the 200hp gets the miata on the straights but many know the miata isnt balls to the wall...

I would buy the SS hands down.. even if the integra was running a 12 and handling better and cheapers.. the SS just has so much more potential...

i find it humorous that you feel the need to downplay every car that you don't particularly care for.
why on earth would i want a miata over an ITR?
can you honestly say you'd rather be driving a miata?
i know you said it because "it handles better", but what do you expect of a fwd car? i said it handles very well for what it is, a fwd honda.

yea, cuz a v8 out accelerates everything.

acceleration in an ITR is a turbo kit away if you want it that bad.

no, v8s dont out accelerate everything.

but an LS1 will send an ITR owner home crying. *edit - now that i think about it, an ITR with a turbo wont keep up with an SS with the SLP package. i bet an ITR turbo, safe amount of boost & pump gas wont hit 13.20s... stock SSes are hitting 12s.

the gas thing... thats a common misconception too. stay off the gas pedal and youll get pretty decent gas mileage, just like any other car. its just when you have somewhere around 350hp at the flywheel, you tend to get on it a little bit more often than a car with what... 130 ft/lbs of torque?

acceleration and 1/4 mile time aren't the same thing.

Thumbs up

TravisND, I love your car. It is the car I have ALWAYS wanted, and I have a helluva list of cars I have owned. It is geourgeous. Your engine bay is no worse than men have been doing since before there was a word for it..."rice"...yeah ok. On a SS...rice...haha!

Would love to see the car (you gonna show @ Wangan II, or did you get pissed @ Jay? I'm sure he wouldn't mind you there...hell, I wanna see/ride in your car!). Hope to meet up sometime though.
