From the Dyno Inc saturday night hang out...
(and random shops that have tuned my car or i have friends at and buy parts from.)
if you believe thats the case when was the last time you saw 300whp 300wtq on a dynojet make 290+ whp 290+ wtq on a mustang? I have never heard of it...of all the threads on evom, the hundreds of cars i have dynoed/witness dyno, even the Mighty Dave Buschur himself said its really only a tuning tool, its not for bragging rights. Have you ever noticed Buschur Racing doesnt put out thier Dyno numbers but AMS puts out thiers? Who was first into the 8's in an Evo and/or DSM? Buschur (and the Mustang Dyno). Im just saying you cant claim tech error if it isnt tech error. Today when i get to the shop ill get on the horn with mustang and see if they cant come take a look. Its almost dumbass proof too...they give a long, long ass list of cars to pull information from. so HP at 50mph, max wieght, etc. is all there. So im interested to know what proper numbers youre talking about and why you say there is so much assuming going on. PM me please.
They may be the first, but not the only. All Aspects has an AWD dyno and their dyno works flawlessly. We dyno'd at least 20 Mustangs up there one morning with no problems and all put down the numbers they should have. Those guys did an awesome job that day. Took care of the cars like they were their own.
i believe thats incorrect.
you cant always add 15% to your numbers, then you end up with estimates. You cant brag about estimates. Why the hell would these Mustang dynos not measure the ACTUAL HP? having an error of 15-20% is unaccpectable, it sucks to tell you the truth. Just added 15% isnt your actual HP.
