I own a DSM as of yesterday. 91' Talon tsi AWD. Just gotta work out the kinks with it(paint, turbo, interior) and it should be pretty nice. Within thirty minutes of having the car, I had already taken out all the tint, put my 17" Enkeis on it, and put the Tenzo R racing seats in it. Oh yeah, my S-10 is for sale to whomever can conjure up $9,500, all the stuff goes with it including my brand new set of Eagle 212's that were never mounted. Peace.

Yeah, theres a bit more than that., You have;
Larry (99 white GS-t)
Chris (Black 99 GSX)
Chris (Silver 2g GS-t)

Plus there are others, I know a white one like larry's only it's lowered. Some other n/a's and shit and there are a few on the board from the valley.. I can only think of Marshall, 16g-gsx and choodle at the moment.

I'd like to find another 2nd gen turbo cheap. preferably a 95 GSX. I may even be willing to buy a 1st gen. I'm more partial to the 2nd gen body style and interior though. I'd have to save up and buy it at the end of summer though. It took me several years to find my car for the price I got it at Thats why I've only taken mine to the strip once, I'd rather have a 2nd car in case I blow the 1st one up. I'd much rather drag a GSX instead of a GST anyways.

Yup, when I was going to sell my teg. I was going to buy a 1g awd however a trade came up for a 95 gs-t that's ecactly like yours. It's red, leather interior.. but no sunroof. and moderately modified with a t28, greddy turbo timer, mbc, k&n fipk, short shifter, guages.. yada, yada, yada, plus he is giving me a 1g head, intake manifold, tb, and a few odds and ends like a 97+ gs-t wing., 97 gsx wheels.. well heres a pic of it. It's extremely clean.

Needless to say, I could not pass the deal up.

*SCREAMS* It's my clone! no wait....I Just gotta lose the stock rims.....ahhhh!!! Good job on the nice find though! I'm trying to keep my car as stock looking as I can.

Check out my ideas below. I even have this retarted idea for keeping my stock muffler on my car (just not hooked up) and arranging for a 3" exhaust to somehow stay hidden under my car. Maybe it sounds like a dumb idea to most, but hey what do you think the 5% tint is for and the GS logo on the back (instead of GS-T), the small pen apexi turbo timer, and anything else I have in my car being as hidden as can be. (except the tripple guage pod that came w/ the car) Also I am taking an auto body repair class in august so I hope then I can fully repaint the car red and remove the grey stripe therefore making my car....the ultimate sleeping eclipse

In case people here reading this may think I am a retarted car owner, here are my future plans that should take place in late 2004 or summer 2005.

-DSMLink ECU Upgrade (Instead of having a flashy S-AFC2 sticking out of my dash, and I'll keep the laptop in place of the stock stereo amp in the pass. seat)
-Greddy Boost Controller (Hidden in my arm rest)
-*then sometime around when my stock tranny fails I will upgrade that with duel syncros and better after market gears. Might ship it off to shep racing to let him do the work unless I become good friends with someone who has tranny equipment/presses whatever.
-255 Fuel Pump, 840cc Injectors, possibly SS fuel lines even though its not really needed, fuel pump rewire.
-Exhaust (my cat is perfectly clean, it should last until this time) o2 elim external dump tial wg, not sure if I'll use a muffer or just a straight pipe becauese of my retarted idea above.
-Upgraded SBR turbo.

Then I should be done for a while. anything after that will probably be new engine internals or pullys or such. It all depends on how soon I blow something up.

Sometime this summer for my b-day I should be getting hooked up with a hard pipe blow thru maft setup. It wont really help my sleeper plans, but its not hard to change out to regular vent/nonvent when I really want to keep from surprising people.

Cool deal, and about that exhaust, andrew has done it. I don't remember what it is called but its some kind of electronic actuator. Think of it as an electronic wastegate that you can tell to open or shut. With it shut it sends the exhast back through the muffler with it open it will just dump the exhaust out below the car. He has his welded underneath his 02 sensor pipe. He was sick of the bullshit tickets so I don't blame him.

If he ever uses aim i wish i had his aim sn and i would ask him about it. I dont remember him having stock muffler left on his car tho, because I remember seein that shiny 3in tip as he left me behind lol

I believe you do mean an external dump tube like a tial waste gate? I didnt know of any buttons to make it switch between internal or external, i thought u just had to change the whole part where the external bov and pipe connect to the o2.

Hehe cops here wont pull us over for loud exhausts. I use to drive a 86 Celica w/ a 2.5in flowmaster exhaust and it was friggn loud. I ran open cat for a couple weeks and my school is right beside a police station downtown. I just wanted to see if there was any feel on spool up and such. it gave me a headache everytime I drove my car so I put it back on real quick. At least now I know my cat is completely clean tho. Good for running that c16 at the track that night

This is cootees:
Andrew sold his apexi system and went back to a stock muffler, it's not a external dump, I don't remember what he called it but you can block it off and direct the flow of exhaust.

more then likely its an electric cutout.....install it in the downpipe after the o2 housing, and you have a switch you can activate it.....either open downpipe, or straight through the exhaust.

as for dumping the gate externally....as long as you dont hit full boost, you will have no noise issues on the street. DSM link is THE best investment for that thing....

what turbo you gonna run on it to need the 855's?

and i really hope you are buying that car from the guy in Eye Candy, cootees.....and not just linking to a photo on this same site.. http://www.dragva.com/forums/showthread.php?t=49701

Whats up man, I remember meeting you that night after briefly runnin down valley view blvd.

Yeah I sold the apexi system. To be honest I loved the N-1 look, I just wanted something different.

Right now its just stock cat-back, painted black, no shiney tips, gutted cat, and apexi downpipe with a 3" Electric Q-tec exhaust cut-out mounted below the 02 housing. Hold the switch either way and its fully adjustable, I love it. While in town its so much quieter than my 3", and it screams at full throttle when open. The install was a bitch because theres no real space to mount the big thing without worries of scrapping, because my car is pretty slammed. I had to have an exhaust shop Y off my apexi downpipe and mount it there. I even passed inspection with it .

But anyways, glad to see more dsmers are showing up! They are definitley underrated, not to many people know the potential of them otherwise everyone would own one.
