The next one should be fun... It wasn't a horrible turn out, but I was dissapointed I wasn't able to run my car...

It was a lot of fun none the less.

Hope to have more events like this out there because it sure beats seeing a bunch of chevelles/camaros/etc running every week.

I guess I just dont see it. The winner ran a 8.20, how does that beat watching something fast go down the track?? I dont see many imports running FB or SP...I figured you'd like seeing the them, dont they bring in most of the tracks money?!

I think you're missing the point. Bracket racing is probably the most boring type of racing (besides nascar) on the face of the planet.

Heads up races are a million times more enjoyable to watch, and typically domestic cars don't run heads IMO a teup.st and tune is more fun to watch than a bracket race.

Sure, they bring in money, but no one said it was fun to watch. Heads up races are just as fun for spectators as it is for racers.

Not to mention watching the same cars every week does get old too.

I guess thats your opinion, not a very business-minded opinion. It may not be fun for you to watch, but Im sure the last bracket race held at NL raked in more $$ than the import shootout. Which tells me someone likes to watch it..

Why do you think domestics dont/wont run heads up? There arent any classes for them to run heads up, which makes it kinda hard? How about try a domestic shootout, put the word out and see what kind of turnout that brings. Dont get me wrong I have nothing against imports, but watching bunch of 8-10 sec import cars sucks the gay right out of Elton John's ass..

I think you missed my point.. "dont bite the hand that feeds you"

No one is bitting anything.. and I'm not looking at this from a business standpoint, I don't run the track, hell i don't even work there. I'm looking at it from a fun standpoint, and the fact of the matter is headsup races are more fun to watch, I think you can at least agree with that.

He simply stated watching the same cars bracket race every week gets boring.. and it's true.

IMO Bracket racing is extremely boring.

Why do you seem to think he doesn't want to run bracket races anymore is beyond me. I know they bring in money. Although, probably not as much as you'd expect, there are a lot more costs involved with a bracket race. I also know the quick 8 was kinda last min, and it's true there weren't a whole bunch of fast cars out, but we all know there are PLENTY of quick/fast imports around.

If you want a import vs. domestic go to King of the Streets.

Why are you so offended?
