How to get started at VIR?
Ah yes. Less distance between the mighty SR20DE and the world's ears
At west point we could tell exactly where you were on the course without looking! LOL

I am from Danville adn i just moved to the 757 area. I have friends there that race. But I do know that on Oct. 21and 22 there is an open track weekend. No instructor no tech just DOT approved helmet. It is held by synergy racing. Check them out at www.synergyracing.com . You can even bring your moms van to this event.
Most of the important stuff has been addressed =) This is the most fun you can have w/ a car... and be warned, it's like crack.
* Realize that you completely utterly suck at driving... go with an open mind.
* Don't mod your car... keep it stock. Make sure brakes are good and it'll pass tech inspection.
* Get a SA2005 rated helmet... try www.saferacer.com for good deals. I run a g-force hybrid helmet
GO have fun!
